A Wartime Tommy helmet dated 1940 which is faint 0n the helmet holding chin strap plate rim and also the RO & Co .this is the maker Rubery Owen of Leeds ,a wartime maker only from 1939 to 1943. has the 1940 stamp on the inner liner plus the size which is 7 a good size . on the liner their is the stamp BMB that is the wartime maker Briggs Motor Bodies Ltd Dagenham, this helmet has a very nice age pattener and charm .a rare helmet to fined these days. 1940 which is a very great date . has the Middlesex regiment painted flash .
